Visit to Tormead School

March was a hectic month full of visiting schools and doing author talks. April is busy, too, as I’m working on the end of the Flynn series AND my first ever book for adults is coming out in May.
I’m enjoying writing – as I always do – but I’m missing meeting readers! Here’s a pic from my recent visit to Tormead School in Guildford where I was made very welcome and had a great time. A special hello to everyone I met there.

book tour in North England for Missing Me

About to head off on tour to promote the paperback of Missing Me. Over the next few days, I’ll be visiting schools in Manchester, Bolton, Blackpool and York. AND doing a public book-signing at Waterstones York next Thursday – 21 Mar 2013 – at 4pm. Hope to see some of you there!

Sister, Missing up for Doncaster Book Award

Great news! Sister, Missing is on the Doncaster Book Award shortlist. What with Girl, Missing on sale at Waterstones for £1 and Missing, Me about to come out in paperback, I’m delighted the middle sister of the Missing family is getting a look in this month as well… :)

Hit Squad wins Red House Children’s Book Award for older readers

Exciting news!!!! Hit Squad, from The Medusa Project series has just won the older readers category for the national Red House Children’s Book Award. I am so thrilled that a Medusa book has been honoured in this way. The RHCBA is a really special one, because all the votes are cast by actual readers of the books. Thanks to everyone who voted!!!!
