Fourteen years ago, scientist William Fox implanted four babies with the Medusa gene – a gene for psychic abilities. Fox’s experiment left a legacy: four teenagers – Nico, Ketty, Ed and Dylan – who have each developed their own distinct and special skill according to how the gene has interacted with their personalities. The first book in this series, The Set-up, sees the four teens discovering their powers and being brought together to form The Medusa Project – a special undercover crime-fighting force run by the government.
Through the series, the teens face many dangers as they are sent on various missions world-wide, and through their work discover that the Medusa gene experiments have had far-reaching effects. They have to learn to work together to survive, and deal with personality clashes and romances along the way. Each story is narrated by a different character, so readers can get inside the heads of the Medusa teens and find out how they really feel about each other!
